The Company successfully implemented the project ENZOPOLO in 2012. The project has been partially financed by the Company itself and funds granted by the Lithuanian national high-tech development programme for 2011-2013.

Project idea was to produce polyol from natural sources (vegetable oil) using enzymes as biocatalysts. Such polyol can be used in polyurethane manufacturing industry and can change the existing polyol into “green” biopolyol with better physical and chemical characteristics. As the process of producing biopolyol is two stages, intermediate product – epoxidized oil is generated, which can be used in manufacturing of PVC products, toys, transport, paints, polishes and cosmetics by replacing currently used plasticizers of chemical origin.
